PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for lightening or dyeing human keratin fibers, carried out in the presence of oxidizing agents.SOLUTION: The method for lightening or dyeing keratin fibers, especially human keratin fibers, such as hair includes a process for applying, to the fibers, (a) an aqueous cosmetic composition (A) containing one or more fatty substances and one or more surfactants (b) a cosmetic composition (B) containing one or more alkaline agents, (c) a composition (C) containing one or more oxidizing agents, wherein the amount of fatty substances in composition (A) is greater than 20 mass% relative to the total mass of composition (A).
