A Toxicodendron vernicifluum extract of the present invention, in an acute kidney ischemia-reperfusion injury mouse model, has been significantly decreasing blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine, and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), has remarkably improved abnormal aspects in a cortical substance and a marrow of kidney, and has significantly decreased apoptosis.
