PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device, when a mesh member is expanded/contracted, reducing stress concentration in an end portion of the mesh member by being configured to hardly inhibiting movements of strands constituting the mesh member, thereby hardly fracturing the strands constituting the mesh member.SOLUTION: A medical device 1 is so configured that an outer peripheral coating part and an inner peripheral coating part are mutually fixed at a fixing part 50 in a clearance 22 surrounded by a first strand 24 and a second strand 26, however, not fixed to any of the first strand and second strand constituting the mesh member 20. Accordingly, when the mesh member is radially expanded and contracted, the movements of the first strand and second strand are hardly inhibited by an annular member 30 so as to reduce the stress concentration at an end portion 21 of the mesh member, and consequently, reduce fracture of the first strand and second strand constituting the mesh member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】メッシュ部材を構成する素線の動きが阻害されにくい構成とすることで、メッシュ部材を拡縮させた際に、メッシュ部材の端部に応力が集中することを低減し、その結果、メッシュ部材を構成する素線が破断しにくい医療用デバイスを提供する。【解決手段】医療用デバイス１では、外周被覆部と内周被覆部とが、第一素線２４と第二素線２６とで囲まれた隙間２２において、固着部５０で互いに固着されているものの、メッシュ部材２０を構成する第一素線及び第二素線の何れにも固着されていない。そのため、メッシュ部材が、径方向に拡張及び収縮する際に、第一素線及び第二素線の動きが環状部材３０により阻害されにくく、メッシュ部材の端部２１での応力集中が低減され、その結果、メッシュ部材を構成する第一素線又は第二素線の破断を低減することができる。【選択図】図３
