A needleless injector assembly can have a spring injector and an ampule. The spring injector can include a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing portion defining a bore and having a casing located in the bore and fixed relative to the first housing portion but the second housing portion can be rotatable relative to the casing. The casing can have a threaded receiving end at an end to threadedly receive a threaded end of an ampule.
