The present invention provides, inter alia, a herbicidal composition comprising: (i) a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibiting herbicide selected from the group consisting flumioxazin, sulfentrazone, butafenacil and a diphenyl ether selected from the group consisting of acifluorfen (including aciflurofen-sodium), fomesafen (including fomesafen-sodium), lactofen and oxyfluorfen or an agronomically acceptable salt of said herbicide and (ii) a safener of Formula (II) or an agronomically acceptable salt of said compound, wherein:—is selected from the group consisting of halogen, nitro, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 haloalkyl, C1-C4 haloalkoxy, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, phenyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, cyano, C1-C4 alkylthio, C1-C4 alkylsulfinyl, C1-C4 alkylsulfonyl, C1-C4 alkoxycarbonyl and C1-C4 alkylcarbonyl and Rb and Rc are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C3-C6 alkenyl and C3-C6 alkynyl.
