Disclosed is a device for analyzing body components by using impedance of a half of the human upper body. According to one embodiment, the device comprises: a first electrode unit which is in contact with a half of the upper body of a subject； a second electrode unit which is in contact with the half of the upper body； a measuring unit which applies currents to each electrode unit and measures voltages of each electrode unit to measure impedance of the half of the upper body of the subject； and an analyzing unit which analyzes body components of the subject based on the measured impedance of the half of the upper body. Accordingly, the present invention can be used in mobile devices or wearable devices and improves user convenience compared with a method for measuring bioimpedance by using the whole body or the upper body.인체의 반상반신 임피던스를 이용하여 체성분을 분석하는 장치가 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따르면, 장치는 대상체의 반상반신에 접촉하는 제1 전극부, 반상반신에 접촉하는 제2 전극부, 각 전극부에 전류를 인가하고, 각 전극부의 전압을 측정하여 대상체의 반상반신 임피던스를 측정하는 측정부 및 측정된 반상반신 임피던스를 기초로 대상체의 체성분을 분석하는 분석부를 포함할 수 있다.
