PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool that enables an operator to have an energizing force in an anti-bending direction of the lower back which is suitable to the operator.SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool 1 reduces a load on the lower back of an operator M by providing the operator M with an energizing force in the anti-bending direction of the lower back which is the opposite direction from the direction of bending the lower back forward. The tool includes: a base body 5 arranged in the front side from the operator M an abutment body 7 which is abutted on at least a part in the abdomen, chest, or shoulder of the operator when the operator M bends the lower back forward and one or more spring bodies 9 which tiltably connect the abutment body 7 relative to the base body 5. The spring bodies 9, when the abutment body 7 tilts in the bending direction of the lower back, provide the abutment body 7 with a prescribed energizing force for each and, the spring bodies 9 are also changeable in numbers or exchangeable with those having different energizing forces.
