PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage device which allows downsizing of a storage part for storing the liquid sucked from a patients eye and yet stable measuring of the liquid level in the storage part.SOLUTION: The liquid storage device includes: a storage part in which liquid is stored a suction part which sucks the gas inside the storage part to reduce the pressure inside the storage part, so that liquid is drawn into the storage part and a liquid level measurement part for measuring the liquid level of the liquid stored in the storage part. The storage part comprises: a liquid intake port through which liquid is taken in a liquid receiving chamber into which liquid is taken through the liquid intake port a liquid level measurement chamber in which the liquid level of the liquid is measured by the liquid level measurement part a first partition for separating the liquid receiving chamber and the liquid level measurement chamber while allowing partial communication therebetween and a liquid drain port for letting the liquid stored in the storage part drain.
