PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing composition which decomposes odor components and deodorizes by exerting photocatalytic functions even in a places, such as dark places in hospitals that are not irradiated with light.
SOLUTION: The deodorizing composition includes a photocatalyst, an inorganic adsorbent, and a hornfels ore. The deodorization is performed by decomposing the odor components adsorbed by the inorganic adsorbent by the hornfels ore and also decomposing the odor components by the photocatalyst activated by electromagnetic waves emitted by the hornfels ore to exert the photocatalytic functions.
