PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which collects MRA images at an imaging portion containing the heart and blood flow information based on the MRA images with proper time resolution and spatial resolution.SOLUTION: The MRI apparatus includes an imaging data collection unit and a blood flow image generation unit. The imaging data collection unit collects a plurality of pieces of imaging data each corresponding to mutually different travelling periods of time of blood from an imaging region without contrast accompanied by a delay time of electrocardiogram synchronization by changing a period of time BBTI from a timing for applying a region selective excitation pulse discriminating the blood flowing in the imaging region including cardiac muscle and displaying it to a timing for collecting the imaging data. At this time, the imaging data collection unit sets a delay time td2 in the electrocardiogram synchronization so that the plurality of pieces of imaging data are collected while making cardiac phases uniform throughout the different travelling periods of time. The blood flow image generation unit generates blood flow image data on the basis of the imaging data.【課題】心臓を含む撮像部位におけるMRA像およびMRA像に基づく血流情報を、良好な時間分解能および空間分解能で収集する磁気共鳴イメージング装置を提供する。【解決手段】ＭＲＩ装置は、イメージングデータ収集部と、血流像生成部とを有する。イメージングデータ収集部は、心筋を含むイメージング領域に流入する血液を識別表示させる領域選択励起パルスの印加タイミングからイメージングデータの収集タイミングまでの時間ＢＢＴＩを変えることで、血液の互に異なる移動時間にそれぞれ対応する複数のイメージングデータをイメージング領域から非造影で心電同期の遅延時間を伴って収集する。このとき、イメージングデータ収集部は、異なる移動時間の間で心時相を揃えて複数のイメージングデータが収集されるように心電同期の遅延時間ｔｄ２を設定する。血流像生成部は、イメージングデータに基づいて血流像データを生成する。【選択図】図４
