PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiseptic composition with excellent diffusibility in a wet tissue fabric.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a wet tissue composition having increased diffusibility and comprising lauryl pyridinium chloride and one or more compounds selected from hydroxamic acid and salts thereof, alkanediol, organic acid, hexamidine and salts thereof, glycines, tropolone, and chlorphenesin. There is also provided a wet tissue comprising the wet tissue composition.EFFECT: The wet tissue composition is excellent in sterilizing power and capable of replacing an existing preservative composition comprising cetylpyridinium chloride.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
