Disclosed are a method and apparatus for evaluating relationship between competition and cooperation, which is sociological relationship. The evaluation method comprises the steps of: measuring ECG signals from two subjects； extracting data of a time region and a frequency region from the ECG signals from the two subjects； extracting indicators of the time region and the frequency region from the extracted data； and obtaining scores from the indicators and comparing the scores with corresponding reference values to determine relationship between competition and cooperation of the two subjects.사회적 관계성인 협력-경쟁 관계성을 평가하는 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 평가 방법:은 두 피험자로부터 ECG 신호를 측정하는 단계； 상기 두 피험자의 ECG 신호로부터 시간 영역과 주파수 영역의 데이터를 추출하는 단계； 추출된 데이터로부터 시간 영역과 주파수 영역의 인디케이터를 추출하는 단계； 상기 인디케이터들로 부터 스코어를 구하고 이를 기설정된 해당 기준치에 비교하여, 두 피험자 간의 협력-경쟁 관계성을 판단하는 단계；를 포함한다.
