The reservoir is in contact with the environment through the porous structure in the housing of the delivery device. The reservoir contains a combination of a second molecule that serves to stabilize and limit the solubility of the therapeutic biomolecule and the therapeutic biomolecule, thereby controlling the amount of therapeutic biomolecule present in the solution.
