A folding line (FL) for folding the absorbent article into two extends along the width direction in the crotch area. A first distance (L1) from a front edge of the absorbent core to a front edge of the front girth area is longer than a second distance (L2) from a rear edge of the absorbent core to a rear edge of the rear girth area.
