PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the decline of the excreta holding capacity of the rear pocket by maintaining the internal space of the rear pocket of an absorbent article.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes a front absorbent body 21 and a rear absorbent body 22 disposed on the abdominal side and the back side of a wearer and a back sheet 23 covering the outer side of the front absorbent body 21 and the rear absorbent body 22, and the back sheet 23 has a center exposure area 235 to directly face the crotch part of the wearer between the front absorbent body 21 and the rear absorbent body 22. The surrounding part excluding the edge 223 on the side of the center exposure area 235 of the rear absorbent body 22 is bonded to the back sheet 23, and the rear pocket 27 is formed between the rear absorbent body 22 and the back sheet 23. In the rear pocket 27, the rear absorbent body 22 is supported on both sides in the width direction by a pair of core support members 24. Thus, when a body pressure is applied to the rear pocket 27, the internal space of the rear pocket 27 is maintained and the decline of the excreta holding capacity of the rear pocket 27 is suppressed.
