PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which since dexmedetomidine has been provided as a concentrate that must be diluted prior to administration to a patient, the requirement of a dilution step in the preparation of a dexmedetomidine formulation is associated with additional costs and inconvenience, as well as the risk of possible contamination or overdose due to human error.SOLUTION: A ready to liquid pharmaceutical composition for parenteral administration to a subject comprises dexmedetomidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof disposed within a sealed glass container, in which the liquid pharmaceutical composition when stored in the glass container for at least five months exhibits about 2% or less decrease in the concentration of dexmedetomidine.【課題】これまで、デキスメデトミジンは、患者への投与前に希釈する必要のある、濃厚物として提供されていた。該デキスメデトミジン製剤の調製における希釈段階の必要性は、追加のコストの必要性および不便さと関係しており、また人的な過誤によって起り得る汚染または過剰投与の危険性とも関連している。【解決手段】封止ガラス容器内に配置された、デキスメデトミジンまたはその製薬上許容される塩を含む、対象に対して非経口投与するための使用準備済みの液状医薬組成物であって、該液状医薬組成物を少なくとも５ヶ月間前記ガラス容器内で保存した場合、約2%以下のデキスメデトミジン濃度の低下を示すことを特徴とする、前記使用準備済みの液状医薬組成物。【選択図】なし
