Topical composition, in the form of oil-in-water emulsion comprising an oil phase dispersed in an aqueous phase, comprises (a) one or more non-ionic emulsifiers having a melting point of less than 45[deg] C； and (b) one or more non-crosslinked polymers comprising 80-90 mole% of 2-acrylamido-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid units (I), and 1-20 mole% of polyethylene glycol derivative units (II), where: the amount of (b) is = 0.6 wt.% relative to the total weight of the composition； and the weight ratio of the amount of (b) and the amount of (a) is 0.7-1.3.
