PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep transparency even if sterilization treatment by heat and moisture is applied, and to have preferable gas barrier property.SOLUTION: A multi-layer container in which a required sterilization treatment by heat and moisture is applied to a stored liquid agent, comprises an intermediate layer consisting of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), and an inside layer and an outside layer consisting of an olefin resin material. The multi-layer container is cooled with the liquid agent after the sterilization treatment, and in addition, after the cooling, the container is dried by heating. The gas barrier property and the transparency can be rapidly recovered by removing the moisture absorbed in the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer during sterilization for a short time.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】加熱加湿による滅菌処理を施しても透明性を維持することができ、且つガスバリア性も良好な多層容器を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明の多層容器は、収納される液剤に対して加熱加湿による所要の滅菌処理が施される多層容器であって、エチレン-ビニルアルコール共重合体(EVOH)からなる中間層と、オレフィン系樹脂材からなる内側層及び外側層とからなり、前記液剤と共に当該多層容器を前記滅菌処理後に冷却させ、さらにその冷却後に加熱乾燥されることを特徴とする。滅菌中にエチレン-ビニルアルコール共重合体に吸収された水分を短時間に除去し、ガスバリア性と透明度を急速に回復させることができる。【選択図】 図1
