The present invention relates to an image monitoring system to remove a needle and a method thereof wherein a treatment region is photographed to check a position of a treated needle and a removal thereof, and a needle removal tracked through an image analysis； thereby preventing problems arising due to an incomplete removal of needles. The invention comprises: a front portion photographing unit provided to be movable and to photograph a surface body of a patient&prime；s frontal body portion, and treated needles to check the position of the treated needles and the removal thereof； a first and a second side photographing unit fixedly provided to a main body to photograph the surface body of the patient&prime；s side body portion, and treated needles for a patient to be positioned for a needle treatment； and a tracking result display unit provided on one side of the main body to analyze images photographed by the front portion photographing unit and the first and second photographing unit to mark a treatment position, and whether a needle removal is performed based on an RGB color information of a needle head or a contrast of a needle head.본 발명은 시술된 침의 위치 및 제거 여부를 확인하기 위하여 시술 영역을 촬상하고 영상 분석을 통하여 발침을 추적하는 것에 의해 불완전한 발침으로 발생하는 문제를 막을 수 있도록 한 발침을 위한 영상 모니터링 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 이동 가능한 형태로 구성되어 시술된 침의 위치와 발침 여부를 확인하기 위하여 환자의 전면부의 체표 및 시침 된 침을 촬영하는 상부 촬영부；환자가 시침을 위하여 위치하는 본체의 측면에 고정 형태로 구성되어 환자의 측면부의 체표 및 시침 된 침을 촬영하는 제 1,2 측면 촬영부；본체의 일측에 구성되어 상부 촬영부 및 제 1,2 측면 촬영부에 의해 촬영된 영상을 분석하여 침 머리 부분의 RGB 컬러 정보나 침 머리 부분의 명암도를 기준으로 시술 위치 및 발침 여부를 표시하는 추적 결과 표시부；를 포함하는 것이다.
