A cane harvester including a chassis, a plurality of ground engaging elements supporting the chassis, and a harvesting section. The harvesting section includes a first knockdown roller, a second knockdown roller positioned downstream from the first knockdown roller, a finned roller downstream from the second knockdown roller, and an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism is coupled to the chassis and the first knockdown roller and/or the second knockdown roller. The adjustment mechanism is configured to arrange the first knockdown roller such that bent cane is generally tangent to the first knockdown roller, the second knockdown roller and the finned roller.
