Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines antimikrobiell wirkenden Kunststoffproduktes, welches als antimikrobiell wirkendes Mittel teilreduziertes Silberorthophosphat enthält. Bei dem Verfahren wird Silberorthophosphat aus wässriger Lösung durch Umsetzung eines Hydrogenphosphats mit einem Silbersalz in Gegenwart einer Hydroxycarbonsäure oder eines Salzes derselben als Dispergiermittel ausgefällt. Anschließend wird die Temperatur erhöht, um die Silberorthophosphatteilchen mit der Hydroxycarbonsäure oder deren Salz als Reduktionsmittel teilweise zu metallischem Silber zu reduzieren.The invention relates to a method for producing an antimicrobial plastic product, which as antimicrobial agent contains silver orthophosphate semi-reduced.
