The multilayer interference coating has at least a 20 dB reduction of optical transmission for at least one of 445 nm, 532 nm, and 610 nm wavelengths and has at least 10 dB optical reduction over a wavelength band from at least one of 445 nm to the ultraviolet region and 610 nm the infrared region.
