PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting device which can temporarily sort a large amount of scallop spats in a short time.SOLUTION: A sorting device includes a first sorting part which has a plurality of elongated clearances, a second sorting part which is arranged below the first sorting part and has a plurality of holes, and a vibration part which vibrates the first sorting part and the second sorting part. The plurality of clearances are wide enough to pass a sorting object and a foreign matter smaller than the sorting object, but not to pass a foreign matter larger than the sorting object.
