<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly and tightly fit an absorbent body to a groove between the buttocks without giving a user a sense of incongruity by preventing a change in the fitting property of the absorbent body due to a difference in the types of physique of wearers and a difference between tightening forces of underwear. <;P>;SOLUTION: This absorbent article is provided with a convex-part absorbent body 6 projecting to a use face side at a width-directional central part of a napkin at least in a range from a blood discharge portion H to the gluteal cleft S, and a pair of left/right compressed grooves 8c-8f extending in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 in the both sides of the convex-part absorbent body 6, wherein the compressed grooves 8e-8f are so formed that the width B<;SB>;2<;/SB>;between the compressed grooves 8d in the perineum between the blood discharge portion H and the gluteal cleft S<;SB>;K<;/SB>;is formed smaller than the widths B<;SB>;1<;/SB>;and B<;SB>;3<;/SB>;between the compressed grooves 8c and 8e in the blood discharge portion H and the gluteal cleft S<;SB>;K<;/SB>;, the width B<;SB>;4<;/SB>;between the compressed grooves is gradually reduced from the gluteal cleft S<;SB>;K<;/SB>;toward the back part side, and no compressed grooves other than the pair of left/right compressed grooves 8c-8f are provided at least in an area S from the perineum to the gluteal cleft. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
