The present invention relates to a dental implant retaining and positioning system, which comprises: an implant, an abutment, a retaining bolt and a withdrawal bolt, wherein the tapered joining end of the abutment is inserted into the tapered slot of the implant. The retaining bolt is penetrated through the through hole of the abutment. The screw-stop end of the retaining bolt is inserted into the screw-stop slot of the implant, and the locking head of the retaining bolt is engaged with the locking slot of the abutment. Moreover, while detaching the abutment, after removing the retaining bolt, the external threads of the withdrawal bolt is screwed into the internal threads within the through hole of the abutment, and the tail of the withdrawal bolt is pushed against the tapered slot to withdraw the abutment from the tapered slot.
