Packaged food product consisting of: a tray (12) having at least a first and a second compartment (14; 16) where the tray (12) includes a plastic film (28) attached to a part of the tray (12 ) for sealing the first and second compartments (14; 16), characterized in that the packaged food product further comprises: a wet food component (18) housed in the first compartment (14) and having a water activity that ranges from 0.7 to less than 1.0; and a dry food component (20) housed in a second compartment (16) and having a water activity of up to 0.65; where the packaged food product is manufactured using an integrated continuous manufacturing system that incorporates two unique hygiene zones (42; 44) and processing technologies, where the manufacturing system is a single continuous line with a barrier (46) between the zones (42; 44) to prevent cross contamination that leads to a packaged food product that is stable to storage as long as it does not contain artificial preservatives; and where the plastic film (28) is adhered to the upper surface of the tray (12) along a joining line (30) that separates the first compartment (14) from the second compartment (16).Producto alimenticio envasado que consta de: una bandeja (12) que tiene al menos un primer y un segundo compartimentos (14;16) donde la bandeja (12) incluye un film de plástico(28) adherido a una parte de la bandeja (12) para sellar el primer y el segundo compartimentos (14; 16), que se caracteriza por que el producto alimenticio envasado comprende además: un componente alimenticio húmedo (18) alojado en el primer compartimento(14) y que tiene una actividad en agua que oscila entre 0,7 y menos de 1,0; y un componente alimenticio seco (20) alojado en un segundo compartimento (16) y que tiene una actividad en agua de hasta 0,65; donde el producto alimenticio envasado se fabrica usando un sistema de fabricación continua integrado que incorpora dos únicas zonas de higiene (42;44) y unas tecnologías de procesamiento,
