The present invention relates to a novel Enterococcus faecium L11 strain and a probiotic composition containing the same as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, Enterococcus faecium L11 strain or a cultured produce thereof exhibits antibacterial effects against various pathogenic microorganisms, and also has excellent acid resistance, tolerance to artificial gastric fluid, bile resistance, and immune-boosting effects, thereby being useful for probiotics, drugs, health foods, lactic acid bacteria preparations, and feed additives.본 발명은 신규한 엔테로코커스 페시움 L11(Enterococcus faecium L11) 균주 및 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 생균제 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 엔테로코커스 페시움 L11 균주 또는 이의 배양물은 여러 병원성 미생물에 대한 항균 효과를 가지며, 내산성, 인공위액 내성, 내담즙성 및 면역증강 효과가 우수하므로 생균제, 의약품, 건강식품, 유산균제제, 사료첨가제 등에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
