The present invention relates to a strain having anti-obesity capability and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a strain, which reduces the concentration of fatty acid dissolved in gut fluid content and, consequently, has anti-obesity capability, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity or metabolic disease caused by obesity containing the same. According to the present invention, the strain in intestines, which reduces the concentration of fatty acid dissolved in gut fluid content in a gastrointestinal tract of a mammal and, consequently, has anti-obesity capability, has no side effects in all animal tests and clinical tests and exhibits an obesity treatment effect similar to Orlistat, a representative obesity treatment agent which is widely used. Accordingly, when the strain in the intestines, which reduces a concentration of fatty acid dissolved in gut fluid content in a gastrointestinal tract of a mammal and, consequently, has anti-obesity capability, is used, the strain is expected to be developed into an obesity treatment agent, which can be generally used by patients suffering from obesity at present and to significantly contribute to the health of mankind.본 발명은 비만 억제능을 갖는 균주 및 이를 함유하는 약학 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 장 내용액(gut fluid content)에 녹아 있는 지방산 농도를 감소시킴으로써 비만 억제능을 갖는 균주 및 이를 함유하는 비만 또는 비만으로 야기된 대사성 질환의 예방 또는 치료를 위한 약학 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 포유동물의 장관계(gastrointestinal tract)에서 "장 내용액(gut fluid content)에 녹아 있는 지방산 농도"를 감소시킴으로써 비만 억제능을 갖는 장내 균주는 동물실험과 임상시험에서 모두 부작용이 전혀 없으면서도 널리 이용되고 있는 대표적인 비만치료제인 orlistat과 비슷한 정도의 비만치료 효능을 보였다. 따라서 본 발명에 따른 포유동물의 장관계(gastrointestinal tract)에서 "장 내용액(gut fluid content)에 녹아 있는 지방산 농도"를 감소시킴으로써 비만 억제능을 갖는 장내 균주를 이용할 경우, 현재 비만으로 고통 받고 있는 환자들이 보편적으로 활용할 수 있는 비만 치료제로 개발되어 인류의 보건에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
