PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the constitution of an economical electronic control system in a variable speed type electric working machine including a detachable battery unit.SOLUTION: The electric working machine has an electric motor for transmitting power to a working unit, a main switch and an electric motor speed setting device disposed in an operation portion, a driving control portion disposed on a machine frame, a battery unit which supplies power to the driving control portion and can be attached or detached to the machine frame, an electricity supply switch disposed on the power feeder on the battery unit side, and a motor power supply control portion which is disposed in the battery unit and outputs a control signal for controlling the ON-OFF of the power supply switch to the power supply switch.
