PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide particle or fine particle which is so modified to provide enhanced anti-inflammatory effect and/or antibiotic effect.SOLUTION: The invention relates to implant which has anti-inflammatory or antibiotic effect or both of them and being expected to be injected into a human body or animal body. The implant comprises at least one porous fine particle or particle. The at least one porous fine particle or particle comprises titanium, one or plural kinds of titanium oxide, or titanium alloy. The implant has a layer of the titanium oxide on its surface. The average length from one side to the opposite side via the geometrical center is of at most 5 mm. The surface area of average ratio is at least 0.15 m/g according to the BET method. In addition, it is disclosed a method for therapy for a symptom comprising inflammation and/or infection in a human body or animal body with the implant of the invention.
