PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a periodontal disease prevention agent which jointly has an antibacterial action and a depressant activity for endotoxin as a bacteria toxin in the prevention of periodontal disease.SOLUTION: In the cationic periodontal disease prevention agent, a cationic antibacterial agent having an antibacterial action such as cetylpyridinium chloride is used as a first agent, an iron ion-bonded lactoferrin, exhibiting a cationic property and jointly having an antibacterial action and a neutralization action for lipopolysaccharide (LPS) as the endotoxin of periodontal disease bacteria, is used as a second agent, and the first agent and the second agent are blended to be made into a compound drug.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯周病の予防において、抗菌作用と菌体毒素であるエンドトキシンの抑制作用を併せ持つ歯周病予防剤の提供。【解決手段】塩化セチルピリジニウムのような抗菌作用を有している陽イオン性抗菌剤を第一剤とし、陽イオン性を示し、抗菌作用と歯周病菌のエンドトキシンであるリポポリサッカライド(LPS)の中和作用を併せ持つ鉄イオン結合ラクトフェリンを第二剤とし、この第一剤と第二剤とを配合して合剤とした陽イオン性歯周病予防剤。【選択図】なし
