PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device and method that can quickly remove odor components to create a comfortable environment.SOLUTION: A deodorizing device of the present invention includes one or two or more deodorizing filters containing a deodorant. The deodorant comprises a metal catalyst, porous ceramics, and at least one selected from the group consisting of activated carbon, zeolite, and diatomaceous earth.
