The present invention relates to inhibitors of C5a for use in the treatment of pneumonia, particularly viral pneumonia. The invention also relates to the use of an inhibitor of C5a in the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of pneumonia, particularly viral pneumonia.
