PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus having a structure for suppressing the adverse effect of external force when the external force, etc., is imparted to a distal end portion, in the endoscope apparatus configured to have an endoscope where an illumination unit including a plurality of light-emitting elements is provided at the distal end of an endoscope insertion part.
SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus 1 is configured to have the endoscope in which the illumination unit 13 is provided at the distal end 6 of the insertion part 2, wherein the illumination unit 13 includes: a plurality of light-emitting elements 13b for emitting illumination light and a substrate 13c provided with a plurality of patterns 13f for mounting the light-emitting elements. The plurality of light-emitting elements are configured such that a plurality of light-emitting element groups where at least two or more light-emitting elements are connected in parallel, are serially connected by group unit, and the substrate is formed in a substantially ring shape, and respective connection parts between the patterns and light-emitting elements on the substrate are arranged in portions closer to the inner circumference on a substrate mounting surface.
