Disclosed are a pest control device using ultrasound and a method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the pest control device comprises: a power part supplied with power in a form of alternating current voltage or direct current voltage to generate constant voltage at a specific level； a control part generating ultrasound having a predetermined frequency by inputting the constant voltage and altering the frequency of the ultrasound at every predetermined time； and an ultrasound output part outputting the ultrasound to the outside. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide devices for controlling pests by outputting ultrasound at the frequency that pests do not like.초음파를 이용한 해충 퇴치 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 해충 퇴치 장치는, 교류전압 또는 직류전압의 전원을 공급받아 특정레벨의 정전압을 발생시키는 전원부, 상기 정전압을 입력으로 하여 미리 설정된 주파수를 갖는 초음파를 발생시키고, 상기 초음파의 주파수를 미리 설정된 시간마다 변동시키는 제어부 및 상기 초음파를 외부로 출력하는 초음파 출력부를 포함한다.
