The medicine feeder includes: a medicine-containing device (120) that has a container containing a medicine, and an ejection mechanism that is rotated and driven to eject the medicine from the container; and a drive device (130) that rotates and drives the ejection mechanism of the medicine-containing device (120) when same comes to a cooperable position. The ejection mechanism of the medicine-containing device (120) can be rotated and driven by the drive device (130) by fitting the fitting part (76) of a second transmission mechanism (70) into the fitted part (61) of a first transmission mechanism (60). The fitting part (76) is retained in a state where same can be moved in the axial direction of a drive shaft (71), and energy is released by an energy-accumulating member (75).
