PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform pre-saturation without changing most of imaging conditions.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus generates asymmetrical pre-saturation RF pulses in response to a position and width of pre-saturation area of a subject and generates an asymmetrical imaging RF pulses in response to the position and width of the imaging area of the subject. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus synthesizes the generated asymmetrical pre-saturation RF pulses and asymmetrical imaging RF pulses to generate synthetic RF pulses. Further, the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus sets an amount applied to rephasing gradient magnetic field pulses so as to converge phases of spins of an imaging area that are excited by the synthetic RF pulses applied along with slice selection gradient magnetic field pulses, and to disperse and saturate the phases of the spins in the pre-saturation area.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】 撮像条件を殆ど変更することなくプリサチを行えるようにする。【解決手段】 被検体のプリサチュレーション領域の位置と幅に応じて非対称プリサチュレーションRFパルスを生成し、被検体の撮像領域の位置と幅に応じて非対称撮像RFパルスを生成する。そして、生成した非対称プリサチュレーションRFパルスと非対称撮像RFパルスとを合成して合成RFパルスを生成する。さらに、スライス選択傾斜磁場パルスと共に印加された合成RFパルスによって励起された、撮像領域のスピンの位相が収束し、プリサチュレーション領域のスピンの位相が分散して飽和するように、リフェーズ傾斜磁場パルスの印加量を設定する。【選択図】 図2
