PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system capable of checking a state of an inpatient without visiting a sickroom.SOLUTION: When a patrol start button 51a of a portable phone 9 for a nurse is touched, a control machine identifies an inpatient to be patrolled and the bed side monitor, and transmits a patrol start signal to the bed side monitor of the inpatient to be patrolled. Upon receipt of the patrol start signal, the bed side monitor displays a permission button on an operation part. When the permission button is touched by the inpatient, a camera start permission signal is transmitted from the bed side monitor to the control machine.
