Disclosed is a syringe (10) that comprises an elongated hollow tubular housing (14) having a nose (16) with a reduced cross-sectional area. A projecting structure (20) is permanently affixed or attached to the housing (14). The projecting structure (20) comprises a plurality of protruding fingers with free distal ends extending forwardly beyond and recessing the nose (16) and an open back end portion (23) with an opening and an interior wall (13) extending longitudinally between the nose (16) and the open back end portion (23). The syringe (10) further comprises an elongated plunger (24) with a plunger seal (26) that slidably engages the interior wall (13) of the housing (14). The plunger seal (26) is insertable into the housing (14) through the open back end (23). There is a second seal (40) for the nose (16). The second seal (40) is a removable closure disposed over the nose (16). The interior wall (13) defines a fluid chamber (15) disposed in the housing (14) between the second seal (40) for the nose (16) and the plunger seal (26).
