An integrated tomosynthesis/ molecular breast imaging device having improved sensitivity includes tomosynthesis imaging components and molecular breast imaging components. The imaging components may be used individually or in combination to provide a system with improved sensitivity and specificity. Molecular imaging components may be smoothly advanced or withdrawn depending upon the desired imaging mode. The system supports both PET and SPECT imaging and enables SPECT collimation to be modified in accordance with image capture requirements.La présente invention concerne un dispositif intégré de tomosynthèse/dimagerie moléculaire mammaire doté dune sensibilité accrue et comprenant des composants dimagerie par tomosynthèse et des composants dimagerie moléculaire mammaire. Les composants dimagerie peuvent être utilisés individuellement ou en combinaison pour former un système doté dune sensibilité et dune spécificité accrues. Les composants dimagerie moléculaire peuvent être facilement activés ou désactivés selon le mode dimagerie souhaité. Le système prend en charge limagerie par TEP et SPECT (tomographie démission monophotonique) et permet de modifier la collimation par SPECT en fonction des exigences de capture dimage.
