PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus to be easily operated without a risk of losing the sight of a region to be diagnosed in the diagnosis.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus has an ultrasonic probe 2. The ultrasonic probe 2 repeatedly transmits ultrasonic pulses to a subject based on the time interval of transmission corresponding to the pulse repeating frequency, and receives echo signals from the subject based on the time interval of receiving corresponding to the sample volume. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises a pulse repeating frequency setting part 8, a sample volume position setting part 9, and an announcing part 10.
