PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide generation of artificial beating.SOLUTION: Operation speed of a blood pump is selectively controlled for generating a pulsatile blood flow pattern including a period having a relatively high blood flow amount and a period having a relatively low blood flow amount, for generating the operation speed pattern including a period having relatively high rotation speed and a period having relatively low rotation speed. For example, the blood pump is rotated by first speed during a first period, then speed of the blood pump is reduced from the first speed to second speed, and the blood pump is operated by the second speed during a second period. Then, the speed of the blood pump is reduced to third speed during a third period.
