The present invention relates to a composition containing Dolichos lablab Linn. extract as an active ingredient for easing hangovers, and preventing, alleviating or treating alcoholic gastrointestinal diseases, the composition having an effect in restoring gastrointestinal wall damaged by alcohol consumption, and being capable of reducing alcohol and acetaldehyde content in the blood as well as increasing aldehyde dehydrogenase activity therein.
