Apparatus for the cleaning of bulbous and tuberous plants with a frame with a washing area with an overflow for transporting the plants from the washing area to a separating area for removal of foliage and further rest material from the plants, with means for the supply of water to the washing area and/or the separating area, whereby the separating area is provided with a number of rolling bodies and in between the rolling bodies spaces are provided for the rest material to fall through, with underneath the rolling bodies a collecting area for the collecting of water, and whereby underneath the rolling bodies and above the receiving area means are provided by which leafage and further rest material can be removed and discharged from the water that has been led over the crops.Linvention concerne un appareil pour le nettoyage de plantes bulbeuses et tubéreuses au moyen dun cadre ayant une zone de lavage avec un trop-plein pour transporter les plantes de la zone de lavage à une zone de séparation pour lélimination de feuillage et dautres matières résiduelles des plantes, avec des moyens pour lalimentation en eau de la zone de lavage et/ou la zone de séparation, la zone de séparation comprenant un certain nombre de corps roulants et, entre les corps roulants, des espaces étant formés pour faire tomber les matières résiduelles avec, sous les corps roulants, une zone de collecte destinée à collecter leau et, sous les corps roulants et au-dessus de la zone de réception, des moyens étant fournis pour éliminer et évacuer le feuillage et les autres matières résiduelles à partir de leau qui a été amenée sur les cultures.
