In another aspect, the absorbent core (2) comprises a first elongated central closed channel (20) and at least two second longitudinal channels disconnected between them (21a, 21b)； the first elongated central closed channel (20) has an hourglass shape oriented such that a longest length thereof is substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the napkin (1), and the second disconnected longitudinal channels (21a, 21b) are centrally aligned on the longitudinal central axis (y-y), separated along the longitudinal axis of the article by a separation distance (f) of less than 20% of the length (e) of the first elongated central closed channel (20), and completely enclosed by said first elongated central closed channel (20).
