PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread for interdental floss with excellent intraoral biofilm removal efficiency and excellent cleaning effect compared to a conventional item, and to provide a thread for interdental floss which is softly abutted to teeth and gums during actual flossing and is optimum for actual use.SOLUTION: A thread for dental floss is composed of irregular-shaped cross-section multifilaments whose cross sectional shape is a multileaf shape of 3 to 6 leaves.
