An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for predicting the weight of an abdominal flap in breast reconstruction. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining data on a body mass index (BMI) from a population, data on a major axis length (W) and a minor axis length (H) from an area of interest arbitrarily set on the abdomen, data on an abdominal flap thickness from a plurality of points within the area of interest, and data on a real weight of the abdominal flap corresponding to the area of interest, and extracting a regression equation for predicting the weight of the abdominal flap through a multiple regression analysis method using the obtained data； and substituting the BMI, the major axis length, the minor axis length and the abdominal flap thickness, which are obtained from a diagnosis target, in the extracted regression equation to predict the weight of the abdominal flap of the diagnosis target. The present invention is able to be used in determining the size of the abdominal flap needed during operation.본 발명의 일 실시예는, 모집단으로부터 신체질량지수(body mass index, BMI), 복부 상에서 임의로 설정된 관심영역에서의 장축 길이(W)와 단축 길이(H), 상기 관심영역 내 복수 지점에서의 복부 피판 두께, 상기 관심영역에 해당하는 복부 피판의 실제 무게에 대한 데이터를 획득하고, 상기 획득된 데이터를 이용한 다중회귀분석법을 통해 상기 복부 피판의 무게를 예측하는 회귀식을 도출하는 단계； 및 상기 도출된 회귀식에 진단 대상으로부터 획득한 상기 신체질량지수, 상기 장축 길이, 상기 단축 길이 및 상기 복부 피판 두께를 대입하여 상기 진단 대상의 복부 피판의 무게를 예측하는 단계；를 포함하는, 유방재건술을 위한 복부 피판의 무게 예측 방법을 제공한다.
