The lead has a lead head (10) terminating a distal end of a flexible tubular sheath and including a partially electrically insulating tubular outer housing (28) with an outer region. An anchoring screw (20) anchors the lead head to tissue of a patient, and is connected to the housing. A heat sink comprises a solid part (34) electrically isolated and carried by the housing in the outer region. The solid part extends along axial direction to the distal end of the lead head and includes contact front face (44) contacting the tissue to form a thermal bridge between the tissue and the solid part. The lead comprises a spiral element (54) made of a thermally conductive material i.e. rehydratable hydrogel.
