Method for lightening or dyeing keratinous fibers, in the presence of oxidizing agent, comprises applying a formulation obtained by mixing: anhydrous cosmetic composition (A) comprising at least one fatty substance and at least one surfactant； a cosmetic composition (B) comprising combination of ammonium (bi)carbonate and at least one organic or inorganic base or their salts； and a cosmetic composition (C) comprising at least one oxidizing agent and at least one fatty substance, to the fibers. The fatty substance is present at at least 35 wt.% with respect to total weight of formulation.
