The present invention relates to a functional composition and uses thereof, and in particular towards a composition that maintains or improves mental clarity. The composition includes a combination of a pine bark extract containing proanthocyanidin(s) and a berryfruit extract containing anthocyanin(s)； and optionally a source of L-theanine. The invention also relates to methods of use and treatment of said composition.
